It is Sunday Morning and I am in the office. I am not preaching this morning so it is more of get some stuff done and prayer for service this morning. It has been a tiresome weekend. Busy is a word I use too often I believe. This Saturday is Kidz Church and I am excited about that. Got to fix the puppet stage and invite bunches of people this week. It will be busy(yes i used it again). There are many people that are in need of physical healing in our church and throughout the churches in the OCOG. God is working in our church and we are starting to see the results of the sowing and tending. It is just the start. This summer will be the best we have seen. I truly feel this way and as long as we follow God and do His will, it will be. This is our time to shine. Will we be the light or will we walk away. We must stand and shine. Please keep the Oakland PD(CA) in your prayers. They lost 3 officers and have one that is in real bad shape from one incident. Pastor Bryan

Hey folks, hope all is well. This has been an interesting week. I think that these next few years could be very different. Just a few thoughts concerning our times and concerns that I have. There are churches that are finding out that the good times and the bad times will affect the church. There are several large churches that are losing their buildings due to foreclosure. The ones I read about are fast growing churches that went through a split or some kind of internal issue and lost tithes and donations and could not keep up with the bills. I am very cautious with spending in the church and trust God, but I know this can happen to any church. We must hold fast to God and follow His way. The next concern is the economy and cults. Many cults have the public ministry that they are Christians but usually declare that they are the only ones. The part I fear are those that use the communal life as their basis. With the way the world is reeling from financial problems, many will look for a place that will meet their needs of food and shelter. This makes the communal cults look more ideal because of the security that the cult will take care of all the members. People in fear will look past the obvious twisting of Scripture and the false teaching just to feel that they are secure. The church needs to be working to help those that are in fear. We should be reaching out and working with those that are in need. This is a basic function in the church and if we fail here, we are failing our neighbors and most importantly, failing God.

We are hoping to start Kidz Church on Sundays in April. Please keep this in Prayer. Rev. Tony Aldridge, Rev. Charles Jenkins, and Jayden Newman are all in need of prayer. Hope your day goes well and that God works in your life.

Hey everyone. Hope all is well. It has been a crazy week. I worked thirds at Wal-Mart all week and was hoping to go play last night but while doing an equipment check, I found the most important tool was not working correctly. It just goes to show, check your stuff before you work, it could be life or death. Today, I spent the whole day working on the truck and got it all back together. It did not fix the problem. Frustrated. But I did get meatloaf today so it ain’t all bad. This week we hung the new sign at church. It looks really good and it wasn’t that hard. Please keep the church in prayer. Keep working hard and chase after what God wants for you

I was looking at the page for The OCOG and I noticed that our senior pastor (he is the general overseer of the OCOG)started a blog on the website. I must say I was impressed and proud of the fact that Pastor Taylor took the initiative and I believe it to be a very good idea. So I am now going to start the same for TWC. I hope that this will be help and perhaps help me get better ideas and rethink things that I do. This will not be daily as I am not that perfect but I think I can hit twice a week and maybe more. This is Sunday, March 1 and we had 7 inches of snow. This is southern middle Tennessee and we had 7 yes seven inches of snow. We actually canceled services because the roads were pretty bad and I would hate to think someone wrecked on their way to church. Yesterday, we had Kidz Church. It was the second one of the year and we almost doubled the amount of kids that showed. We had 19 kids. screaming yelling kids. I am getting excited about warm weather because I know more kids will show up. The final bit of news for today is the fact that we bought a new sign. That may not seem like much but for us it is a big deal. It is 4x8 and should be seen from the road. We hope to install it this week. See ya’ll soon. ChaCha! Pastor Bryan.
